Locusts & Shame: Embracing Madness Series 1

First, the text in this design reads: THE APOCALYPSE IS WITHIN ME ALREADY. I MAY EXPECTORATE LOCUSTS AT ANY MOMENT AND THE SKIES WILL SINK BELOW THE EARTH DUE TO THE GRAVITY OF HEAVEN'S SHAME IN CREATION.

This poster is the first in hopefully a series of what I call "post-motivational" posters. These designs contain a dark theme - rather than vapid platitudes - that promote the expression of frustration, anger, and other strong negative emotions as a means of catharsis.

This particular design (as well as the entire series' conception) came about after spending a 24 hour period researching over 50 of the worst things our current president (Donald J. Trump as of writing) has said for a separate web-based project I was developing. After researching these quotes, I was despondent. Angry. Inconsolable. I chose to vent this via a skeet to my followers that was mostly composed of the text contained within this poster, and was shortly inspired to create this series.
