Moby Fist 3.1

I decided to take one of my favorite mythical sea creature pieces and attempt to convert it into a somewhat photo-realistic painting.

The piece, Moby Fist, originally started as an absurdist take on the legend of Moby Dick.. Portraying it as a hand puppet. Like the others in the series, this started as a surrealist watercolor. A while ago I converted it to a digital illustration which is still available here in print form as part of this collection.

This evolution of the piece took a lot of work; utilizing stable diffusion to generate parts of it in a multi-step process to guide the AI, then to photoshop to put everything together and paint various parts of the scene not created by the AI.
