My Survivor Anthem
My Survivor Anthem is a my story as a survivor of sexual assault. Written and recorded years after it happened, this song acts as a form of catharsis for me, as well as a reminder that there is no limit to whom can be sexually assaulted.
The performance is intended to be raw, and features some experimentation in vocal styles that I don't have a lot of experience with, lending even more to the rough and free-form - rather than precise - feeling I wanted to convey.
