You may be shocked to learn that musicians such as myself like to write and record music for the people we love.

This song was written and recorded for Jess as a combo Birthday/Valentine's Day gift; It features musical styles that she enjoys, blended with my own blues work. Each track was recorded in one full single take in order to capture the flow and feel of a performance, because.. Yeah, I performed it live for her, too (with a click track - I'm not that good).

And yeah, that woman on the cover is Jess herself. Fun fact: She owns the only (authorized) physical copy of this (and on vinyl, no less)!
